New procedures for Employers and Public Liability claims

New procedures for the handling of Employers Liability claims and Public Liability claims are to be introduced in July this year.

It is hoped that the new procedures, which are similar to those implemented for Road Traffic Act claims, will help to streamline the claims procedure, reduce costs and hopefully help to lower insurance premiums.

AXA have produced a handy guide to the new rules and how they affect businesses.

Note that the new rules impose strict timescales for responding to claims so please act immediately should you receive notification of a claim.
