National 3 Peaks Challenge 2010
£7,170 raised for charity!
We did it!
Starting on 4th June 2010 we started the National 3 Peaks Challenge at Ben Nevis. 23 hours and 46 minutes later, we finished at the foot of Snowdon leaving only 14 minutes to spare!
The challenge entailed climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, then on to Scafell Pike in the Lake District and finally completing Snowdon in Wales.
The team managed to raise just over £7,000 for the various charities:
Hayden Long (from John Heath Insurance Brokers) – Cancer Research UK
David Long (from Health Shield Friendly Society) – Meningitis UK
Stephen Heath (from John Heath Insurance Brokers) – Cancer Research UK
Philip Heath (from John Heath Insurance Brokers) – The Wingate Centre
Andrew Ferguson (from Balfour Beatty) – Balfour Beatty – Building Better Futures
