You may have already heard that the UK is braced for torrential rain and severe gales starting on Sunday 27th October and lasting at least for a couple of days.
Inevitably, this is going to lead to some property damage and, if you are unfortunate enough to suffer any storm damage and you need to make a claim, there are a few things you can do to speed the process up:
- Gather as much information as you can about the damage, where the damage is and how bad it is (eg. if it’s damaged slates, how many?)
- If you can, get an estimate to repair the damage including a breakdown of the costs
- Take photographs of the damage
